Tasks
Interfacing with planners, purchasing materials & services (OSP) from external suppliers in order to schedule receipt of raw material to meet production demand.
Assessing supply chain capabilities upon PSI (customer requests), updating planners with expected material arrival dates.
Driving key sourcing initiatives (promise date updates, Ariba usage, etc.).
Providing regular estimates to suppliers and regular updates to operations.
Working with Warehouse to resolve material receipt issues.
Responsible for lead-times, keeping supplier market shares and using agreed prices.
Responsible to resolve invoicing and customs issues.
Responsible for procurement follow up and expediting management.
Understanding supplier capacities and capabilities.
Provide forecast for suppliers based on site specific and global demand.
Manage and facilitate daily/weekly conference calls with suppliers.
Supporting planners in inventory management.
Track and drive cycle time reduction with supplier, assist in maintaining supplier scorecards.
Manage and monitor transportation requests.
Expectations
Fluent Hungarian and English language knowledge is required.
BA, BSc degree in Business Management, Engineering or Technical Degree.
Experience in a similar position (purchasing/logistics) is an advantage.
Strong customer service and results oriented mindset.
Demonstrated technical aptitude.
Relevant sourcing or equivalent experience.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Ability to organize, assess, prioritize tasks, risks, resources, milestones and deliverables.
