We are looking for a Senior C++ Software Engineer to take part in the lifecycle of our partner's medical platform’s ongoing development and enhancement efforts. This advanced visualization platform provides radiologists access to state-of-the-art 2D-3D advanced visualization applications, allows diagnostic medical image review, collaboration among physicians, and integrates processing capabilities into the routine workflow.
Tasks
- Lead the technical development, define, create, and improve software in a dynamic, agile environment.
- Develop high-quality C++ code that meets standards for maintainability and functionality.
- Produce and update technical documentation and collaborate on defining manual and automated tests for your code.
- Establish interfaces between code modules and integrate existing technologies into new designs.
- Emphasize the importance of testing, enhance quality through automated tests, and write both unit and high-level tests.
- Conduct research and develop proof of concepts (POCs) to demonstrate technical feasibility.
- Maintain the integrity and quality of program documentation.
- Collaborate with global development teams.
- Proactively share relevant information with the team, ensuring the right audience receives the appropriate level of detail in a timely manner.
Expectations
- 4-5 years xp in windows-based C++ programming
- Database development (Oracle is a plus)
- Microsoft Visual Studio
- Source code management with GitHub
- MFC, COM
- .Net and Java experience is advantageous
- Experience with medical applications is a bonus
- Familiarity with web and swing Java technology
- Ability to assist in Java development alongside C++
- Capable of defining tests and working with manual and automated testers
- Experience writing POCs and collaborating with other developers
- Sharing best practices with future junior colleagues
